House Angelo is powered by solar and renewable energy, which is eco-friendly but also has some limitations on electricity use based on the amount of sun and battery capacity. We kindly ask guests to consult our House Information Guide for guidelines on how to use electricity efficiently.
On sunny days, please charge electronics and use high-energy devices like blow dryers during the day. At night, we ask guests to conserve energy, as the battery provides sufficient electricity for essential appliances such as the TV, radio, water pump, lights, and refrigerator. We kindly ask our guests to be mindful of their energy consumption during their stay.
The path to House Angelo is partially asphalted, and partially macadam. While it may not be the smoothest road, it is accessible by car and adds to the sense of seclusion and privacy that the house offers. It's recommended to use a higher and/or smaller car and drive carefully.
House Angelo is located in the isolated nature area of Kaštel Lukšić on the Kozjak mountain. While providing complete privacy and serenity, it's also within easy reach of all the cultural and historical sights, as well as outdoor activities that Dalmatia has to offer. The City of Kaštela, known for its well-preserved historical fortifications, is nearby, and the beautiful beaches of Kaštela's coast are just 2.5 km away.
A short drive of 30-40 minutes takes you to Split, Trogir, Omiš, Šibenik, and other famous tourist destinations like the Krka National Park, where you can experience the beauty of nature. Activities like rafting on the Cetina River, exploring the Roman emperor Diocletian's palace in Split, visiting the medieval fortress Klis, taking a boat ride and exploring islands, and the Biokovo skywalk are also available. The house is conveniently located just a 12 km or 15-minute drive from Split airport.
At House Angelo guests can enjoy a wide range of modern amenities, making their stay as comfortable as possible. The house includes a bathroom with hot water, cleaning products, and body soap, as well as an outdoor shower for added convenience. For the bedrooms and laundry, guests can enjoy essential amenities such as towels, bed sheets, soap, and toilet paper, hangers, bed linens, extra pillows and blankets, room-darkening shades, a mosquito net, and a closet for clothing storage.
For entertainment, the house offers Wi-Fi, a TV with standard cable, and board games for the whole family. The house is equipped with both air conditioning and heating, as well as an indoor fireplace and portable fans. Guests can feel safe with a fire extinguisher and first aid kit on-site. For the kitchen and dining area, guests can take advantage of a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, cooking basics, pots and pans, dishes and silverware, a freezer, a gas stove, wine glasses, a baking sheet, and barbecue utensils. The dining table offers ample space for meals.
The house's outdoor features include a private fully fenced backyard, a fire pit, outdoor furniture, a hammock, an outdoor dining area, a private BBQ grill (wood-burning), and sun loungers. Guests can park their cars in the private garage. Finally, there is a tavern (summer room) on the ground floor where guests can relax and enjoy a cozy atmosphere. With these amenities, guests can enjoy a luxurious and comfortable stay at House Angelo.
House Angelo can accommodate up to four guests comfortably with two bathrooms. The first bedroom features a king-size bed, while the second bedroom has two individual beds. This arrangement is ideal for families or couples traveling together.
Check-in time is between 4 and 6 PM, and check-out time is until 10 AM. However, we do offer the option of early check-in or late check-out, depending on availability. Guests can request early check-in or late check-out, and we will do our best to accommodate their needs if possible.
